Intricately embroidered chest patch, containing a blooming peony and encircling dragon. Symbols of prosperity and wealth, these lucky symbols sit upon a rainbow of traditional colors! 

Choose from a short top or long robe version of the garment, both versions come with its own pair of dragons upon the front and back of the garment. These chest patches used to signify court rank in the palace and are called Bufu 补服. 

Both versions of this Yuanling Ao 圆领袄 (round collar double-layered top) are perfect for layering with standing or cross collared garments. Pair with your favorite Mamian skirt 马面裙 (horse face skirt) for an instant 17th century outfit.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
