Jing Wen 静雯 Qing Dynasty Han Woman's Cloud Collar Embroidered Porcelain Top & Mamian Set

Step into embroidery worthy of museum-status details. This Qing Dynasty set is inspired by Han ethnic women's fashions, consisting of two-piece sets as opposed to the Manchurian one-piece dresses.

Choose from various regal colors and two collar styles - cloud collar or round collar. While the Cloud Collar (yunjian, 云肩) is commonly associated with ornate and colorful designs upon a separate garment, this top has the cloud collar sewn into the shirt itself. A popular technique from the later Qing.

The round collar was a more casual option, less constricting and more comfortable without the mandarin collar. Both collar styles are embroidered with shining white and blue threads, adding a beautiful contrast to the black trim.

Pair with the Qing Dynasty style horse face skirt (qing mamianqun, 清马面裙). Constructed with a separate decorative panel upon the front with matching embroidery.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles
