Based on artifacts from the Mashan Tomb in Southeastern China, the Cang Lang 沧浪 Vast Waves brings the ocean fairy spirit to life in the form of historical garmets

The Zhiju 直裾 (straight hem robe) was worn by both men and women for most of the earliest dynasties. Characterized by long, sweeping, dramatic sleeves, and of course - a straight hem along the bottom! 

Made with luscious ocean blue fabrics and lined with golden brocade hems, feel free to wear the inner layer as-is or layer the outer layer over any other outfit. 

Floor-grazing length for maximum ethereal impact, geometric brocade along cuffs and collar add a bit of sparkle to peek out beneath the outer layer. 

Pair with the matching brocade belt (included with inner robe only!) to tie it all together. 

Perfect for photoshoots, cultural events, and running through hallways dramatically.

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a flat surface or hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
