Bleeding Hearts 血心 Modernized Tang Dynasty Tanling Knit Cardigan

Believe it or not, these adorable bleeding heart patterns are based on a real Tang Dynasty textile! Made from warm knit fabric, elevating this ancient artifact into a modern statement piece. 

Features the Early Tang tanling (坦领, droop collar), allowing inner shirts to peek through the top, or wear as-is for an easy spring outfit ☀️ 

The heart patterns flip on the backside of the sweater, creating a much more cohesive and flowing print. Adorable large pearl buttons add a touch of sophistication to this funky knit.

About the brand: 萃

萃, recently changing their name from UTOD to CUI, is a small brand dedicated to modernizing hanfu for daily wear. You might recognize them from their Best Selling hanfu-inspired winter coats from last year that were unfortunately discontinued. Their new revival as CUI with all new modernized hanfu designs is a welcome surprise and we are hopeful to see even more of their seasonal sets!

 

SIZING INFORMATION

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

 

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use medium heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
